- Apparently you're not much into your religion if you have to go thru a a drive-thru for a spiritual event. You go to a drive-thru for a hamburger, not something as important as this. "I don't have time", is one of the lamest excuses on earth. If something is important to you, you take the time.

- I don't care what the circumstances are in this case, the mother should be charged with child neglect. What is a 12 year old (no matter what her mental capacity) doing naked, eating out of trash cans. Mommy needs to have the book thrown at her at about 90 miles an hour.

- Not real big on cheese or yogurt. Eat it occasionally, but not too often. I suppose if it came down to it, I would probably eat the lab grown meat, since it can't be much different than the gosh awful stuff they already put in our food.

- Family didn't know he was dead for five years. What kind of family is this? I have lived away from my family for thirty some odd years and have never missed a weekend that I didn't call them. Now that my mom has passed away and my dad is not well, I talk to my brother several times a week.

- Where's the body of evidence? The cops tell the landowners to look for the body. To me that is pathetic. I would think it would be the cops and investigator's job to find the body. Condolences to this teachers family. May the two who did this get the maximum penalty.

- Why lower the flags for Whitney Houston? They certainly didn't do the same for Ella Fitzgerald or any other singer that died. I'm sorry, but I can't see why she should have such honors. What I see is a singer who self-destructed and we should not put her on a pedestal.

- I haven't decided if the Tylenol company thinks the parents are so dumbed down, that they can't medicate their own kids and get it right or if the company itself is so afraid of getting sued, if the patents can't give the correct dose.

- I remember when I was a kid, my mom had the closets so packed you couldn't even see what was in them. One year the fire department came in and did an inspection and told her flat, to get the closets cleaned out because they were a fire hazard.

- Mr. One-Eye, I do respect your opinion and your moniker would almost fit me quite well, except the undertaker part. I'm not a gun nut, but I do believe we have a right to be able to defend ourselves on a personal level.

@lacywild, I live in Houston and the Texas wild fires are only a 20 second blurp on the news...TV, radio and paper. The storms that have ripped across a large section of our country are, I believe, more news worthy.
